The Friday Fact

While most people consider cashews to be nuts, cashews are more like seeds. Cashews grow inside the tropical fruit known as the cashew apple. The cashew apple spoils quickly but leaves behind its seeds, but such expiration allows the apple and nut to be separated.

Expand For Free Update

Expand for Free provides a free link to the Expand for Free directory. This is a free way to increase traffic as long as you submit your URL and blog name. It is a great way to increase your page visits in your blog (or any website that you would like to get expanded). Anyways, as I have been trying to mention before you can submit as many blogs you want to the database, however, keep in mind that you should separate each blog by separate comments! This means that if you have three blogs, you should put three comments under the main post with each one containing a different Blog URL and Blog Name.

Topic Wednesday

It's Wednesday. Feel free to comment with any questions you may have about anything. If you don't get an answer, it may be featured as The Burning question on Saturday.

Answer to Saturday's Burning Question:
The Question:
How do you add a sidebar in blogger? Is there a way to have multiple sidebars?

"Please tell me how to expand my writing area? Can I do something on my left side of site and how?" asked by Dartagnan.

The Answer:
Matt provided the answer: Yes, you can definitely add another side bar. Unless you are good at html editing, I recommend using a premade template that already comes with multiple sidebars. Here is the link I used:

The next largest lake is Lake Superior which is just over one-fifth the size at approximately 31,700 square miles. The Caspian Sea is also over twice as long and twice as deep as Lake Superior.

Thursday Tip

Affiliates aren't all they are cracked up to be.

There are several telecommuting jobs that provide legitimate ways to make money online in the comfort of your home. Such include journalism/photography/online surveys. However, be weary of affiliate websites that promise to make millions - many are scams. These affiliate sites often require paying a large initial deposit with the claim that you will easily make the money back even if you won't. The money back guarantee does not necessarily work because often times the sites are a pain to get a hold of and well not respond to your queries. Prefer websites that provide free registration and do not ask for any of you personal information, these are often preferable because even if they do not work out as you would like, you didn't lose anything in the end.

Answer to Saturday's Burning Question

The Question:
A couple gets a divorce. They have two twin children. The mother wants her children to go to a nearby public school and the father wants the children to go to a private school that is about a 45 minute drive. How should this dilemma be resolved?

The Answer:
Thank you for posting this question, it was a great one. Anyways, this is an issue that does not have any clear-cut answer in that it is one that can be argued in court without much prior understanding of how the judge will likely rule. That being said, no matter what the disputes are between both parents, the parents must understand that deep consideration for their children has to take place at all times. This means that regardless of whether the children are relocated or not, the children must feel the caring support of both parents even if it is not necessarily in the interest of both parents.

I think the reasons for both the parent's disagreement must be brought out. For example, say the mother is worried about financial and transportation expenses if the children went to the private school. In this case, the father should be responsible for covering these expenses as it is his choice and the couple is no
longer married.

Since Supreme Court rulings have consistently been ruled in favor of what is in the best interest of the children, there is a legitimate argument for why the twins should have some say in the decision. See Radford v. Propper.

Thursday Tip

Despite what many people consider to be an unproductive way to spend your time, sleeping should be thought of as being incredibly productive. Sleep is absolutely paramount and goes hand-in-hand with productivity. Only with adequate sleep can you perform daily functions at your fullest ability.

According to Professor William Dement, a sleep expert nothing can change an individual's sleep requirement, not even caffeine. Caffeine and energy drinks merely prolong your drowsiness for a later time, but one way or another it will come back to you.

According to a Gallup poll, 56% of Americans experience daytime drowsiness due to lack of sleep and over one-third are dangerously sleep deprived. Therefore, you should never be ashamed of getting a little extra sleep.

So next time you think to yourself, "Oh gee I can't believe I slept in." you should take that as a sign that your body was in need of additional sleep.

Expand For Free is Over 100 Strong

Expand For Free now has well over 100 users who have submitted their website into the database. This is good from both the visitor's and user's perspective.

This means people who use Expand For Free as a searching tool have many different websites to find whatever needs to be found. For example if you are looking to shop online, Expand for Free has several websites that allow you to shop for what you are looking for under the "Online Shopping" category. This categorization prevents you from wasting your time having to look at several unrelated sites or from searching through the hundreds of millions of websites found in google. Expand for Free makes it that much simpler...besides if you can't find what you need based on what the blogs posted on Expand For Free, you can always resort to my google custom search engine to browse the world wide web.

For users who are currently in the database, this also allows you to increase your blog traffic due to high volume of users.

Keep in mind if you are a member of the Expand For Free database (you can easily find out if you link is posted on the sidebar) blog traffic is residual. This means that you may not get like one-thousands hits all at once, but over time you can get more and more visitors. If you are still unsatisfied with your blog traffic Expand For Free has several other features that you may utilize at your disposal to help promote your blog (check "Features" under Posts on my right sidebar). Only one user has taken advantage of ALL of the features Expand For Free has to offer so there are definitely ways to further promote your blog to increase page visitors. Expand For Free provides a free link to the world wide web.

Anyways, take it easy. If you have questions about anything at all, please let me know through either commenting or emailing me at ExpandForFree@yahoo.com
